Transitions From War

Dec 18, 2018

Tom Voss is an Army Veteran who served in Iraq as an infantryman in 2004-2005. After struggling to reconcile his experiences in war, Tom knew he had to do something drastic or suicide would become a real option. Tom and fellow Army grunt Anthony Anderson decided to walk across the country to spread awareness about moral injury, a lesser known phenomenon that describes the experience of witnessing or participating in something that goes against deeply held morals or values.

Tom starred in the documentary Almost Sunrise, which chronicled both the external and internal journey of healing. Rent or buy the film on iTunes, Amazon, and YouTube. Today Tom is deep into yoga, meditation, and trail running in Ventura, California.
